What is your minimum order?
For T-Shirts, we have a minimum order of 300 units per style, per color, regardless of size. However, this number can vary depending on the style of the apparel.
How come I have to order so many shirts at a time?
Variant Art provides custom apparels made according to your specs. Each roll of fabric can yield approximately 300 pieces. When you think about it, that's (75 sm, 75 med, 75 lg, 75 xl), which isn't really that much for custom T-Shirts. In addition, setup is also expensive therefore it's just not worth producing only a few shirts.
How do I place a production order with Variant Art?

How long does it take to make the sample?
Usually it takes about two weeks for the first sample and pattern. If there are no revisions, a production approval form and a price will be sent to you to sign off on. If revisions are necessary and another sample is needed, plan on another two weeks. If another sample is not needed, we can proceed to production.
What brand of t-shirts do you offer?
We do not purchase t-shirts and apparel from t-shirt factories such as Hanes, Anvil, Gildan, and the like. All of our t-shirts and apparel are made to order and customized to your specification. This ensures quality and craftsmanship on each of the product you receive.
Will your T-shirts shrink?
All cotton t-shirts, even the pre-shrunk ones tend to shrink. A lot of the shirts we provide are pre-shrunk - meaning they are prewashed, dryed, then rolled, before they are made into t-shirts. This minimizes the shrinkage during your first wash (which is where you'll see a majority of your shrinkage - Approx 5%-8%)
Can I send you my own shirts, hats, or bags to print or embroider?
Unlike local shops who purchase from other factories and solely service prints and embroideries, all of the garments we provide are custom-made to order. This ensures you'll get the highest quality in craftsmanship and design. As a result, we can not accept other manufacturer's apparel as we can not ensure their quality and craftsmanship.
Are your embellishment options limited to those shown on the website
Absolutely not! We have hundreds of different embellishment techniques, styles, and combination to choose from. If you have an idea you've seen or a sample you would like us to replicate, simply send us the details and we'll bring that idea into life.
How is the quality of your shirts and apparel?
Variant Art uses fabric made from many different grades of yarn. The t-shirts we provide are often higher quality 100% combed ring spun cotton jersey as well as other high quality blends. With that said, this doesn't mean we can't provide you shirts made with the lower quality open end carded fabric as well.
What kind of fabric do you provide?
We offer a wide variety of fabric for your T-Shirts and custom apparels ranging from 1 x 1 baby rib with resilient stretch, 2 x 1 rib, which features wider ribbing, thermals, Cotton blends, to much more. We provide soft, fine knit jersey that is very comfortable and lightweight in a full range of weights as well. For our sweat shirts and sweat pants we provide fleece and French Terry.
